Responding to questions about the New York community center controversy, former independent Minnesota Governor Jesse Ventura stuns CNN with the comment that “religion is the root of all evil.”
He says Muslims have the right under the Constitution to build a mosque near the 9/11 ground zero site, and points out that the First Amendment protects unpopular speech because popular speech does not need protection.
