The National Weather Service has issued a tornado watch for 40 counties across Alabama, including Blount, Jefferson and St. Clair counties.

The alert warns of particularly dangerous conditions, including the possibility of long-track tornadoes and strong tornadoes, as well as damaging winds and hail.

Stay tuned to your favorite weatherman on the Tube today ladies. They will scare you to death better than any horror film.

This is the kind of weather only ducks love, you know. It is just sad to see the last of the dogwood blooms go. Hope it doesn’t pound the tomato plants too bad, but it will be good to see the oak pollen and curly cue seeds go away. We’ll all be breathing better by Sunday…
