New Orleans Evacuation Halted?

The so-called leaders overseeing the worst natural disaster in U.S. history stand by and issue press releases as the buses, boats and helicopters have stopped rescuing the poor people stuck in New Orleans because of one gun shot in the air.

This is absolutely insane people. I’M NOT KIDDING! DOES ANYONE HAVE A FAST BOAT!

    Glynn, if you played your cards right you really could have upgraded the “fast boat” line into a reference to the Swift Boat Veterans.

    The sad thing about human kind -especially the current US citizen version, is that it takes major catastrophes, and the train being WAY off the rails (and going over a cliff) -before people realize – maybe……. – that there is a lunatic MORON up in the engine….. Have you seen anyone wondering what happened to all those Air Force cargo planes (C 130 Hercules for instance) that can take off and land even on rough little dirt roads? etc and etc and ……… ben

    why the government did not set something like this up is beyond me?
    import all the phone books in the area, flash the url on the News
    Corporation ticker and have a contact plan in place. I think someone should ask some serious questions about what we have not done since sept 11. substitute bomb for storm and it is the same. no contracts for emergency communication….i could go on….hope he gets his ass nailed for not doing squat.
