Several pairs of ospreys are now nesting in Gulf State Park in Gulf Shores, Alabama, and the landscape is beginning to show some signs of recovery since taking a direct hit from Hurricane Ivan in 2004. We’re filing from the Dizzy Bean coffee shop in Gulf Shores after spending that night last night in the Flora-Bama Roadhouse Lounge campground after the big St. Patty’s Day party.
