Snow Covers Alabamaland ‘08

January 19th, 2008

As predicted, a blanket of snow covered middle Alabamaland on Saturday. The birds seemed to be having as much fun as the kids in the hood. This male house finch (carpodacus mexicanus) was not so shy as I shot from the indoor bird blind into the dogwood tree.

First of all this is a great newspaper. I found it by doing a search on Locust Fork.

I live in Locust Fork and was just curious as to what the web said about it and then discovered the paper AND LOVE IT!!

Next, Glynn what kind of camera do you use? Your pictures are awesome.. Absolutely beautiful.

Thank you and THANK YOU FOR THE PAPER..

Thanks for the kind note Christianna.

Most of the pictures you see were taken with a Nikon D50. We have hopes of upgrading soon and buying a bigger lens, when the revenue stream picks up a bit more.
