If there’s no such thing as global warming, how do you explain this spring iris blooming in December? [Click on the image for a larger view]

The word Iris means rainbow. Iris is the flower of the Greek goddess Iris who is the messenger of Love. In the language of flowers Iris symbolizes eloquence. It blooms in the spring, not the winter, but this one popped out in Monday’s December rain.
