What About Jobs?

Are Republican leaders attacking women’s rights to distract us from their lack of a jobs plan? Jennifer Granholm takes on the latest battle in the “War on Women,” suggesting that this renewed focus on an “old, reliable issue” like women’s rights is merely to deflect attention from their inadequacies. Granholm suggests that now is the time for the GOP to stop fixating on what women do with their bodies and “obsess about something else,” like job creation: “It’s time for you to apply a little of your laissez-faire, hands-off economic theory to your approach to us. Leave us alone.”

I was at Big Spring Park today protesting the Repugs War on Women. There were perhaps 250 – 300 people there – but where were all of you? The park shuld have been filled to the brim and overflowing onto the streets.

People who sit on their tails and do nothing deserve what they get which is a half-educated 39- year- old cornhusker who has never been married by the name of Clay Scofield writing and passing laws telling you what you can and cannot do with your own body.

You should be ashamed of yourselves for choosing to sit on the couch or whatever you were doing today and not helping out with this protest.
