The first thing Monday morning on this camping trip, a pileated woodpecker was feeding on this large, old tree crook. Unfortunately, by the time I got up and set the Nikon up on the tripod, the woodpecker took off and never came back throughout the day.

    Now i realize why i don’t have a Nikon only a point ‘n shoot Canon SX 200 ~ wish i had better but for instant shooting it’s awful nice.
