Gulf Restoration Tour Around Barataria Bay
June 26th, 2010NEW ORLEANS, La. — We toured Barataria Bay in southern Louisiana with the Gulf Restoration Network and a representative from the Louisiana Shrimp Association this week and found oil-stained marshes, washed up oil-soaked boom and brown pelicans with their wings soaked in oil and chemicals.
This is our innovative new form of story telling on the Web, the adventure news feature video we call MoJo, for Mobile Journalism, inspired by Hunter S. Thompson’s Mojo Wire, Michael Moore’s movies and other literary and artistic influences. We are only just beginning to explore this art form with Apple’s iMovie program. The best is yet to come…
