(Actually, that folding tendency was given serious blows again Auburn and Florida, but this win dealt it a death blow.) Defense won the game, a defense that Lee Corso called "the number one defense in the world" at halftime. Six points in the first quarter for Texas could have been two touchdowns, except for the defense, and Gilbert could have led the winning drive for Texas with 3:02 left, except for defense. The Tide is back.
