Right Scott,

That's what we need, a religious nut running government. Ask your buddy judge Roy Moore if he's ever heard of Hugo Black and the separation of church and state. And read Sunday's science lesson on memes...

The subject of gambling is nothing but trouble. The main text book for man to live by is the Bible.

It says throughout the letters of Paul that the "just are to live by faith"

Man covets instead of "living by faith" when he gambles. He steals another man's wages through trickery and deception.

I grew up in New Jersey in the days when casino gambling came to Atlantic City. The "elite Big Business" interests used education as a gimmick to introduce the benefits of the industry. The rich got richer and the poor multiplied. Education sufferered because of the lack of wisdom instilled "worldly values" instead of Godly living.

The Atlantic City Rescue Mission has grown by leaps and bounds to testify to the growing need of this depravity.

Men that were at one time good became evil. Gambling has no virtues! I am sorry to hear about the investigaion, but not surprised.

Roy Moore has shown us strong moral values, hopefully we will see him become the next governor and then we NEED to support him for a better Alabama.

Well, there are a few good Republicans left and for the moment Bill Johnson is one of them. Will Riley be the next governor to end up in federal prison?

A new state constitution is in order, I think. The one in place now, with hundreds of trival amendments, was adopted in 1901 mostly to disenfrancise African Americans. It is arcane and archaic in many other ways as well and leaves far too much leeway to governors over state business and finance.

Among other things that would be good to adopt in a new state charter: the Bolivarian idea of a nonpartisan ombudsman's or tribune's office, with power to stop cold any questionable state activity, contract, expenditure, etc.

Corrupt government reflects, if not widespread corrupt tendencies among "we the people," our sad predisposition to accept in silence horrendous white collar crime at the taxpayers' expense.

We have to stand up and demand it be stopped or it never will be.

It's about time! There should have been an investigation long ago, when Don had the election lead then for an instant it was turned around.

There have been too much that has been hidden with this administration to the people of Alabama.

It's time we take a united stand.
