House Set to Vote on Health Care Bill Saturday

U.S. House Democrats are working to secure enough votes to pass President Barack Obama’s historic health-care overhaul legislation with a vote set for Saturday.

The bill, which embraces Obama’s goals of extending health coverage to tens of millions of uninsured Americans and tough new restrictions on insurance companies, would pass into law a $1.2 trillion plan to go into effect over 10 years.
