Birmingham Water Board to Meet on Locust Fork Land Sale

The Birmingham Water Works Board will hold a board meeting Friday, August 14 at 8:30 a.m. to vote on the controversial Locust Fork land sale.

According to Black Warrior Riverkeeper Nelson Brooke, “it looks like they’re going to try and fast-track the sale to the highest bidder.”

“Essentially what we have now is a bidding war, he said.
