Judges are not computers or Mr. Spock, and do happen to be human. They have, and will continue, to bring their own perspectives to the cases the court rules on. Again, I repeat my contention that Sessions and some of the other Republicans (apparently not all) were using the Sotomayor hearings to crush sour grapes. They lost in the 2008 election. Barack Obama has the right to nominate Supreme Court justices. They should, as they say, get it over it. Good piece, David. Gespass is right.
