The point for me is that 48 million people in this country participate in bird watching, 20 percent of the population. That's as large a group as religious church goers, marijuana smokers and people without health insurance. A smart politician might be able to do something with that, if there was such a thing here... Is that right? And does that include, for instance, the bottled water brought along for birdwatching outings or what?
