This just in via e-mail from Don Siegelman:
I didn’t hear anything about Jill until late yesterday. She will make a good addition to the forum. They have Conyers. Cong. Hank Johnson. Judge Clemon who may in the end be the Star of the Show. Jill. Scott Horton. Oliver Diaz. And “Champ” Walker and several other key speakers including Bill Yeoman who was Ted Kennedy’s chief legal council on the Senate Judiciary. A very good line up.

This just in from the Pam Miles list:
I received the email the earlier today that Gov. Siegelman was going to be unable to attend this quite IMPORTANT event. I pray that Gov. Siegelman’s plight and cause is mentioned at the forum.
It is with great hope that this event will OPEN the EYES of the DOJ and the U.S.SUPREME COURT to realize that what has been done to this great man. I as one person in Alabama whom is a registered VOTER look forwards to the day that JUSTICE IS SERVED in Alabama and those responsible for the wrongful persecution of Gov. Siegelman get what’s coming to them. A FEDERAL PRISON CELL. LOCKDOWN 23 out of 24hrs a day. No MONEY to buy people off with so they will keep the truth quiet. There is a god and there is JUSTICE let both of those FREE Gov. Siegelman.
Thank You
Scott

I personally know Hank Johnson (D-GA) and have for more than 20 years. He is an outstanding, and highly ethical, individual. Good that he’s involved.
Regarding the live blog: the more that comes out about what has been going on, the more it raises alarm. There seems to be little understanding among politicians and higher level bureaucrats that the government is supposed to be a servant of the people and protect our rights, not the other way around.
Once again I reference Frank Herbert, author of the “Dune” science fiction novels, who warned how representative governments evolve, or devolve, into autocracies over time.
When our “agents,” as George Soros has labeled them, act in their own self-interest rather than the interest of their “clients,” meaning the rest of us, the nature of government changes fundamentally.
This very “devolution” happened in ancient Greece and Rome. Fortunately, we have the web media, such as Locust Fork, to stay on top of this for us.
Now we have to be vigilant and continue to speak out against evil as well.
