The Eleventh U.S. Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta has granted former Alabama Gov. Don Siegelman’s motion to delay a new sentencing hearing in Montgomery until the U.S. Supreme Court decides whether it will hear the appeal.
The order indicates Siegelman’s re-sentencing hearing will not be held until at least August 12, according to what one of Siegelman’s attorneys apparently told the Associated Press.
