A complicated drama, or comic drama, depending on how you view it, and not the least surprising given the Machiavellian nature of Alabama politics and justice.

Tell me again: why is it we need lawyers? Or at least, most lawyers? I remember reading many years ago that the US had the most attorneys per capita of any country in the world. Whether that's still true, I don't know.

But it sure seems we have hordes of them waiting to pounce, like so many vultures and hyenas, on anything that looks like fresh meat or even not-so-fresh roadkill. And of course, the better-connected ones get there first.

Is there hope? No so long as we have twenty gazillion laws and regulations written in high legalese so Byzantine that even lawyers have to specialize to understand. There will be lots of road kill in the meantime - a lot of it politically-driven a la Rove - and plenty of vultures and hyenas laying in wait for it.

And they say science fiction books like "Dune" and "The Notebooks of Lazarus Long" are strange. Not so much.

This is a very thorough story. This needs to be exposed to the Justice Dept. and the public, papers, etc.

Of course the papers are all owned by a bias group, who do not want
to print the real truth!

Why have we got someone in control of our state who has maneuvered these kind of shenanigans and certainly knows about it all?

What about the "no-bid" contracts in North Alabama?

What about the so-called task force?

What about the House and the Senate, and why was Riley trying to stack them with Republicans, not to mention the Justice System in Alabama?

Why would "Bob Riley" want to leave Congress and run for Governor of Alabama?

Seems everything all adds up and goes in a circle with Siegleman/Scrushy trial as the main purpose to it all!
