After the failure of the new Congess seated in early 2007 to have any meaningful impact in fighting the Bush administration, I began to wonder if our system is broken beyond repair.A few visible stirrings such as Rep. Conyer's actions as reported here give me some hope that this nation can be returned to the rule of law. I take this as very good news.
