EPA Seeks Input on Greenhouse Gases Regulations

November 24th, 2008

In response to the landmark U.S. Supreme Court ruling in Massachusetts v. EPA, a high-profile case brought by the Center for Biological Diversity and other environmental advocacy groups, the Environmental Protection Agency is seeking public input on the regulation of greenhouse gas emissions under the Clean Air Act — a critically important step in solving the climate crisis.

The Clean Air Act is one of the country’s most successful environmental laws, with four decades of achievement in reducing harmful air pollution, according to the group. The Act also provides a highly effective regulatory structure that can be used right away to reduce greenhouse gas pollution, and that makes it crucial to the fight to curb climate change due to global warming.

If you support clean air, you can have input by writing the EPA and voicing your support for Clean Air Act regulations on greenhouse gas emissions. Pass it on…
