August 12th, 2008It’s news quiz time in Alabama, although a good number of people from New York, LA and DC are in on the game over on a certain listserv originating out of Huntsville, if you know what I mean…
They are playing 20 questions.
1. Go to this Website and look at the picture of Air Force One being refueled by a Doss Aviation truck. Who can guess who owns a controlling interest in this corporation?

But of course. Doss Aviation is owned and controlled by Mark Everett Fuller, a former member of the Alabama GOP Executive Committee who ran a series of campaigns for the Alabama GOP in which Don Siegelman campaigned in opposition, and who then was elevated to the federal bench by George W Bush. Fuller sat as Siegelman’s trial judge after failing to disclose a series of disqualifications, including a statement he made to a TV station in Enterprise, Alabama to the effect that an audit of his records as district attorney, which he believed to have been started by Siegelman, was “politically motivated.” Following a trial marked by extraordinary connivance between Fuller and the prosecutors, Fuller entered a sentence of nearly unprecedented severity against Siegelman. He was immediately awarded with a massive no-bid contract awarded to Doss Aviation. The upshot of the no-bid contract is that Fuller will be a wealthy man until the end of his days, thanks to taxpayer largesse.
Not to mention the fact that Fuller failed to fully investigate the e-mails that would prove jury misconduct in the Montgomery case against Siegelman and Scrushy, and immediately qualify the case for a mistrial.
Whether the three judge panel over at the Eleventh Circuit Court of Appeals in Atlanta will rule on that issue is up in the air. If Fuller had recused himself from the case, chances are Jill Simpson would never have signed and filed her affidavit. And of course, there’s all likelihood that Siegelman and Scrushy would never have been convicted in the first place.

Even with a sympathetic judge with a grudge on Siegelman and a mandate from Bush, the jury was hopelessly hung to the point of fisticuffs — until Fuller issued that late Friday afternoon “dynamite” charge.
But there are many more unanswered questions originating down there in Montgomery and Enterprise, home to a very important component of the military-industrial complex of America and with all kinds of secret intel deals going on under the noses of the sleeping press in Alabama.
Like Bush likes to say, we know, “It’s hard.” Of course he was talking about governing, not investigative journalism, or his reaction to the U.S. Women’s Olympic Volleyball team in China the other day…

3. Doss Aviation was awarded a large $178 million contract right during the middle of the Siegelman trial. The contract was for doing what for the government?
I’ll give ya’ll a hint. Look at the DossAviation.com website and then go to another Doss web site located on the front page you might find the answer.
4. How many different military bases does Doss Aviation do business with?

5. Wonder who lobbied for Doss and got those contracts and who they lobbied to get to fill up and maintain Air Force One?
I would think is a pretty big deal what do ya’ll think?
6. Further, who was the prosecutor in the Siegelman case who has Air Force connections?
7. Wonder if he knew who fills up and maintains Air Force One?
8. Also wonder if President Bush and Karl Rove knew that a Mr. Mark Fuller, who owned the largest share of stock in the Doss Aviation corporation who fills up his Air Force One, was the judge in the Siegelman case?

Who was the lobbyist that helped Doss aviation get the big 178 million dollar contract? Was it Dax Swatek, was it Bill Canary and did they or anyone else ever lobby Bill’s old friend American Trucker David Adddington who was working for Cheney to help get those Doss Aviation Contracts? What about lobbying Karl Rove and George Bush who was the lobbyist who got the contract for the Doss mini base that was awarded during the middle of the siegelman case? Want that be some fun questions to ask I bet several at the pentagon will tell us the answer to these questions. Further who was calling the pentagon folks about these doss contracts all these years and the two airforce guys who have recently been fired over minot base deals and who are being looked at closely about the eads deal what was there role in these lobby deals with Doss were they involved with Doss? Wonder if any of McCains troublesome lobbyist were involved?

Question number 8 : Were there any Doss representatives at the July 2002 campaign event that George Bush flew in and held for Bob Riley that raised four million dollars when Bob was running against Don Siegelman and if so who and how much did they donate? Also just for fun did the President on his way down here or back talk about Don SIegelman on airforce one and how he and Karl Rove were going help Big Bob Riley beat Don Siegelman with Bill Canary?
Further during the summer of 2002 did Bob Riley get an airplane ride on airforceone and is that a picture of it on the 60 minutes piece that broke the siegelman story is that why they put that there? ALso did the President and Bob Riley plan on that trip how they were going a have a big event and beat old Don Siegelman and while were at it did they talk at that time about the charges Bill Canary’s wife had been making against Don Siegelman for his other candiate Steve Windom and how they could be usd to help beat DOn Siegelman and did Bill Canary start on Bob Rileys campaign? Further when Karl wrote his love letter{ I jest the letter was the complaint letter } to Dan Abrams telling him off is this the event he was talking about planning for the President to help the Riley’s ? Also don’t you wonder if a Doss truck filled up airforce one when it was in Alabama? Also don’t you wonder if the judiciary appointment for the middle district came up during that time when the President was raising all that money four million dollars in one day for Bob Riley? Ya’ll know it takes a couple of hours to get from Washington to Alabama would it not be fun to know everything said about Don Siegelman on those plane rides maybe someone should ask George Bush? Further would it not be fun to watch the secret service tape of the whole event that occured the day of the fund raiser ya’ll know they taped from the minute the wheel landed until the plane took off that whole day don’t ya? Did ya’ll see the article about this in the birmingham magazine about the birmningham company that taped the whole entire day of the four million dollar funding party held by George Bush for Bob Riley in 2002 and what you bet it shows all the big wigs that were there? Don’t ya’ll all hope that the judiciary committee gets a copy of that tape?
