Spring Bird Migration Off To A Tanager Start

| The spring bird migration is finally off to a tanager start, I mean tangible start, as a scarlet tanager [piranga olivacea] made an appearance, along with the first rose-breasted grosbeak. We’ve had a few ruby-throated hummingbirds coming through for the past three weeks, plus a few gold finches, pairs of brown thrashers and Eastern blue birds. |
