Locust Fork Canoe and Kayak Races, the Locust Fork Whitewater Classic, will be held March 24.

It’s at Kings Bend in Cleveland, Alabama, just north of Cleveland off Hwy 231/79. There will be food, a bonfire and a day of family fun. Parking is $2 and camping is $5. The event is sponsored and hosted by the Friends of the Locust Fork River and the Locust Fork Racing Organization.

The Alabama Cup is awarded to canoers and kayakers who have the fastest total score in a series of three races.
