Gonzo Writer Thompson’s Ashes Blast Off
August 21st, 2005I will have more to say about this by Sunday afternoon, but for now - if you haven’t already heard - Gonzo journalist Hunter S. Thompson’s ashes were blasted in the sky over Owl Farm in Woody Creek, Colorado, Saturday night in the midst of a fireworks show.
Wish we could have been there, but the budget would not allow it - especially with these gas prices, thank you very much President Bush and your Saudi buddies.
There will be many interesting stories and some not so interesting to read about this in Sunday’s newspapers, but for now, here’s the AP story.
