Karl Rove The Source in Plame Case?
July 2nd, 2005Editor and Publisher magazine is now reporting on its Web site that Karl Rove is the secret news source in the case of Valerie Plame, the CIA agent outed in the search for the missing Weapons of Mass Destruction in Iraq.
If this turns out to be true and other news outlets report it this week, it will interesting to see if the powerful and vengeful architect of George W. Bush’s successful runs for the White House can get himself out of a criminal prosecution for perjury and revealing the identify of a federal agent.
With the steam picking up for the impeachment of Bush for taking the nation to war under false pretenses, could the Rove/Bush political lucky streak be “in its final throes?”

Didn’t Bush himself swear that the culprit who outed Valerie Palme would be found and tried for treason?
Now that it’s (probably) Rove–who was front runner all along–what do you think will happen?
Answer: Presidential Pardon.

A pardon next week and then nominate him for the Supreme Court.

Not likely on the Supreme Court, but a pardon is quite possible - but it won’t come next week. Bush will wait until his last month in office for that . . .
